At a poetry slam, artists compete against each other with self-written texts. There are no limits to genres and text types: from poetry, prose, rap and comedy to short stories, recipes, poems, diary entries and everything in between and beyond, everything can be included. Your task as the audience is to compare these incomparable art forms and techniques.

Weststadtstory brings you the best and most exciting match-ups in the poetry slam scene. Artists who have risen to the top of your favorites will battle it out to see who is now the very best. Until new challengers emerge. Sometimes with special formats and surprises that nobody can foresee.
