In the organizer's words:
First, they perform together; then they discuss it together. Anthony Joseph offers a glimpse into his work, accompanied on drums by Diego Piñera, bandleader of the “ILB House Band”: Caribbean calypso, poetry, and magic weave together into a flow of rhythm. Afterward, the participants discuss what they’ve just created. In conversation with Jeet Thayil, the focus is on the question: What effect do improvisation and collaboration have on the participants?
