Where NRW Meets Latinamérica: Business Happens

The startup ecosystem in North Rhine-Westphalia is more international than it appears. Ibero-American founders and innovators are already here—they’re building companies, developing solutions, and tapping into markets that most players in this ecosystem have not yet explored. Behind this presence lies a wave of innovation from Latin America that is directly relevant to what North Rhine-Westphalia is currently building: greentech, agri-tech, logistics, digital services, deep tech, international trade relations, and sustainable business models that are already being tested in some of the world’s most demanding markets.

The EU-Mercosur Agreement has been in force since May 2026. New supply chains are opening up. New markets are accessible. And the founders who know these markets best are already active in NRW—with products, services, and business relationships that the local ecosystem has not yet fully recognized.

This session will shine a light on this.

Who should attend: Ibero-American founders and professionals who are establishing themselves in NRW and want to network, collaborate, and grow. And for German founders who see Latin America as a real business opportunity and want to understand how to turn interest into concrete action.
