Frankfurt, 2026, one of the most diverse cities in Europe - 180 nations, countless languages, perspectives and stories. And yet: who sits at your table? Who comes to your birthdays? Who is in your feeds? Often people who think similarly, live similarly, grew up similarly.

Encounters are no coincidence. It can be shaped. And that's exactly what this evening is about.

Grow Together Germany invites you to a dialog workshop at the Museum Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt - as part of the WDC Campus 2026. The evening starts with an introduction to "Encounter by Design" as the basis of a stable democracy, followed by a panel followed by an audience discussion. And then: speed matching. You sit opposite someone you don't know. Encounter by design at the lowest level - simply join in, start a conversation, meet new people.

Inga Gertmann, More in Common Germany, brings the research perspective: How divided are we really - and what connects us?

Emre Telyakar, city councillor and research assistant, talks about political and urban responsibility: What can and must structure achieve?

Agnesa Kolica, co-founder of Grow Together Germany, shows how encounters can be shaped in concrete terms - and what it takes.

Snezhana Abdullina & Mary-Jane Bolten share their personal experiences from the Vielfaltsfreundin program - what happens when encounter by design really works.
