The digital transformation of our society has long been part of everyday life - it has a major impact on our lives, our coexistence and our democracy. While many benefit from it, others are increasingly coming under pressure: through disinformation, hate speech, algorithmic manipulation, permanent availability or even increased social tensions.
Media and communication scientist Dr. Leif Kramp (ZeMKI, University of Bremen) will take a look at these ambivalences in his lecture: What psychological, social and overall societal burdens does digital media use entail - and how do we manage to face them with inner strength? The focus is on the concept of digital resilience - a necessary ability to preserve democracy and our psychosocial balance in the digital age.
Afterwards, the self-help network invites you to an open discussion - with space for exchange, reflection and new perspectives. So bring along your experiences, impressions and questions!
