In the memory of National Socialist persecution, the focus is often on the suffering of Jews. This can lead to their resistance being overlooked and they are primarily perceived as passive victims. Yet there was far more resistance by Jewish men and women than is generally known.

• Historian Dr. Annette Leo (Berlin) will give an overview of the various forms of resistance.
• Bert Seidel (Chemnitz) introduces Dresden resistance fighters.
• Rabbi Akiva Weingarten (Dresden) will talk about ethical aspects of resistance from a Jewish-religious perspective.
