The focus is on the question of how gender-specific violence can be made visible without abbreviating or sensationalizing the topic. Images and their impact will be examined in terms of their potential for dealing with gender-specific violence in the public sphere. The journalist Franziska Pröll (FAZ), the Viennese curator of the specialist gallery Anna Ennemoster, the initiator of the former House of Women in Zwickau Gül Eylem Kaplan, the director Alina Cyranek and the Leipzig city curator Julia Kurz will be our guests. We deliberately invited people with different perspectives on the topic in order to reflect on the images, places and approaches needed to deal with the topic in a sensitive and challenging way in public.
