Wildherb Walk Berlin
In the organizer's words:
Course Highlights
Not every plant found in the wild is safe to eat. Many species closely resemble highly toxic lookalikes, and several plants previously thought to be harmless are now known to pose serious health risks, such as carcinogenicity or organ damage. Guided by experienced instructors, participants learn to accurately identify edible wild herbs, avoid dangerous lookalikes, and gain a deeper understanding of local ecology and botanical history.
Tour Details and Locations
These three-hour guided excursions take place in accessible green spaces throughout Berlin and the surrounding countryside, all conveniently connected to the public transit network. The English-language sessions are held in Grunewald. To help reinforce what was learned during the walk, attendees receive digital access to comprehensive plant profiles after the event.
