Having grown up in a squat in Berlin-Kreuzberg, she is characterized by an openness and honesty that is reflected in all her songs. Her music combines organic pop sounds with emotional depth - sometimes tender, sometimes powerful, always authentic. Themes such as healing, female rage, empowerment and solidarity run like a red thread through her work.

Following her top 10 debut album Wind and the acclaimed follow-up Meere, she has supported Coldplay and Maggie Rogers on stage and played sold-out headlining tours. With her approachable manner, Wilhelmine manages to bring entire halls to silence or sing along and always establishes a deep connection with her audience.
