William and Mary Choir Concert

Experience an extraordinary choral evening with the William & Mary Choir from the USA!

The ensemble of around 50 members under the direction of Dr. Mark Helms brings together students from a wide range of disciplines and inspires with a varied program: from great works of European choral music to moving sounds from all over the world. American pieces - including traditional folk songs from the southern states - as well as works composed especially for the choir are particularly influential.

With over 30 performances a year, the choir is one of the musical flagships of its college and has already performed on international stages throughout Europe, Africa and beyond. Highlights include performances of great masterpieces such as Carmina Burana, Bach's St. John Passion and Haydn's Creation. The choir has even performed in front of Queen Elizabeth II and at a US presidential inauguration.
