Look forward to a great concert by the Abaco Orchestra with conductor Ina Stoertzenbach. Tchaikovsky's last symphony is one of his masterpieces, whose final movement ends in a kind of requiem and reminds us of our mortality. In Strauss' orchestral fantasy, the fateful love story between a woman without a shadow and the emperor is set to music with chamber music melodies and the simultaneous sound power of a huge orchestra. Wagner's Faust Overture deals with the theme of the suffering of human life - inspired by "Romeo and Juliet" - and introduces the concert with a refreshing youthful lightness, but also drama.
