WE ARE ALIVE – The Berlin Musical isa new German musical by Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Sommer, currently running at the Stage Theater des Westens in Berlin. It tells a moving story about family, freedom, solidarity, and the spirit of life in Berlin in the early 1990s.
The story centers on Rosi and her children, Nina and Mario, who are searching for a fresh start after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Their paths lead them to the squatted old building “Konsum Hoffnung,” where, together with an extraordinary community, they experience how hope, friendship, and love blossom in a time of upheaval.
With songs composed specifically for the musical, a rousing live band, spectacular choreography, and an impressive production, *WIR SIND AM LEBEN* — The Berlin Musical—combines emotionalmoments, humorous scenes, and the unique spirit of 1990s Berlin into an unforgettable musical experience.
