Lecture by Prof. Dr. Christoph Lüth
Security against cyber attacks is a highly topical issue, not only because of the current world situation, but also because our critical infrastructure is increasingly based on digital systems and is therefore becoming vulnerable to such attacks. The problem is that this security cannot be tested, as it is never possible to simulate all potential attacks. The speaker advocates using mathematical methods to prove security rather than testing it on a case-by-case basis. He will show how his methods work, explain what the current state of science and technology is in the field of cyber security and what research is being carried out in Bremen in this area.
💡"Wissen um 11", the science matinee in Bremen, in which exciting and current topics from science are presented every Saturday at 11 a.m. in thirty minutes, filmed if possible and published on our YouTube channel. Free admission.
