Postpartum depression after the birth of a child is not uncommon. The condition is not only very stressful for the women affected, but can also have a major impact on family life. What factors play a role in the development of postpartum depression? How does the illness manifest itself and what consequences can it have? To what extent are the women's partners affected and what role do they play? What treatment methods are available?
Experts from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf will provide information about the disease from different perspectives in short presentations with case studies from practice and look forward to subsequent discussions over coffee and pastries.
