Wissenschaft erleben! Tag der offenen Tür der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften

Science amazes us, allows us to discover new things in the world and helps us to understand where we come from. Above all, however, it develops innovative recommendations for the pressing issues of our time. Experience the fascination of science and research: on Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities will open its doors. Get into conversation with researchers from all over Bavaria, experience vivid experiments from the natural and technical sciences. Discuss the contribution of science to current challenges at interactive panels and be there when "Ten questions for science" are asked. Get to know interesting personalities on the science sofa or take a guided tour of a part of the Munich Residence that has an exciting history and is now home to Germany's largest state academy. We are particularly keen to get young people interested in science. There is a varied program for children and young people to join in and discover, from an archaeological treasure hunt to an introduction to programming and the eruption of a small volcano.
