Wo das Christkind sitzen darf? - Pupentheater mit Alys Paletti
In the organizer's words:
Hans and Suse get into an argument over how many Christmas presents each of them will get. Their mother has to settle the dispute. Is it all just about presents? Why do we celebrate Christmas, and why do we give each other gifts on this day?
Hans and Suse actually thought they knew everything about Christmas, but maybe they haven’t quite figured it out yet.
It’s not the red-suited Santa Claus who comes to visit you for the holiday, but the Christ Child, symbolizing the birth of Jesus Christ. The two of them learned this from the children watching, who knew it and explained it to them. Thank you very much.
In return, the children were allowed to help decorate the Christmas tree.
Things became a bit clearer to Hans and Suse.
Now they’re setting up a comfortable armchair for the Christ Child so that, as a thank-you for all the hard work of delivering presents, the Christ Child can finally take a rest.
Free admission.
Admission to the Small Hall on the 3rd floor begins at 2:30 p.m.
Please use the right-hand entrance, the “cinema entrance,” to the Stadthalle.
The puppet show is part of the 2026 Boppard Christmas Market. For more information about the Christmas Market, visit www.boppard-weihnachtsmarkt.de.
