Wochenmarkt Schwachhausen (Benqueplatz)
In the organizer's words:
Benqueplatz is located in the middle of the Schwachhausen district on Wachmannstraße. The perfect place for a weekly market. Vegetables and fruit, including organic produce, fish, meat, sausage, flowers, cheese, baked goods and Bremen bee honey are for sale here twice a week.
The weekly market on Benqueplatz is not quite as big as the nearby Bürgerpark. But the man who gave the square its name is a testament to its greatness: Wilhelm Benque, the architect and long-time director of Bremen's Bürgerpark
