Wonderful Waste

With "Molitor meets Cool Collection", the Zeit ist knapp gallery opens the special exhibition "Wonderful Waste " with the multidisciplinary and conceptual screen printing artist, Tobias Molitor,and offers an exhibition on the subject of plastic bags and the throwaway society. Plastic bag screen prints, oversized till receipts and art installations, as well as the story behind the Aldi bag complete the overall concept, reflecting consumption and the current zeitgeist. As part of the exhibition, over 400 plastic bags from several decades from Tobias Sadecki's extraordinary "Cool Collection" will be shown alongside Molitor's works. Which exhibition venue could be more suitable for "Wonderful Waste" than an empty PRIMARK branch of a shopping mall, whose concept seems just as obsolete as that of the plastic bag anyway?
