The two-day workshop "Dramaturgy for Short Formats in Film & Animation" is aimed at creatives who want to develop their ideas in short formats precisely and effectively. Short formats place special demands on storytelling: Content must get to the point quickly, work emotionally and be visually convincing at the same time. The workshop provides a practical insight into how material can be dramaturgically structured and sharpened under these conditions.

Under the guidance of Matthias Frahm (author & dramaturge), participants will work on the central principles of material development and dramaturgy for short formats. Markus Kark (production manager) complements this with the perspective of production practice and shows how ideas can be implemented realistically and efficiently.

Participants will develop their own concepts in practice-oriented exercises and receive targeted feedback.
