Magazine of favorite things - workshop with Kathrin Brunnhofer for young people aged 14 and over

What makes a thing a favorite thing? Which objects, memories and activities can be staged with photography, collage, as a still life or in a text in such a way that a small (un)personal narrative is created? And how can the results be combined to create a lively and sparkling magazine?

The workshop for young people is led by Kathrin Brunnhofer and takes place at the interface between art, creative writing and photography - with lots of fun and practice. A space to try things out and experiment, where even the unfinished can shine.

Kathrin Brunnhofer studied sociology and politics and has been working as a freelance photographer in Hamburg since 2008. She also works as a lecturer in the field of photography and interdisciplinary media practice, for example at schools and universities, and develops a variety of educational formats in the field of cultural education.
