Workshop: umBlättern – Pflanzentextildrucke

In the organizer's words:

On the BlütenLust cultural weekend in the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Gardens, artist Monika Lorenz is offering a workshop for children and adults.

Ecoprint is pure magic: plant parts such as leaves, bark or flowers are placed on the material prepared for dyeing, rolled up tightly and then steamed or boiled in a dye bath. This extracts the natural dyes from the plants and allows them to be permanently conjured up on paper and fabric. What remains is a pile of leaves that end up on the compost heap.

In this workshop, paper and old bed sheets that have already been prepared for the dyeing process with non-toxic stains are given a new look.
Tip: Please wear non-sensitive clothing.

Limited number of participants - the workshop is fully booked!
