In the organizer's words:
The steps become a grandstand and the promenade becomes an arena - let's go to the competition of the poets, let's go to the battle of the arts. The sun warms your back and the wind carries the words to your ears. Everyone is invited to rhyme, listen and judge on two (hopefully) sunny summer Sundays to choose the best slam text of the afternoon. Here, Hamburg's most talented city poets will take the audience on a journey through poems and stories in entertaining episodes: At the "Wortflut" poetry slam in HafenCity!
