The WortViertelFest for Kids is back!

On July 19, 2026, Dortmund’s Westpark will once again transform into a place full of stories, imagination, and creative encounters. Look forward to a summer festival featuring literature, music, hands-on activities, and plenty of surprises for kids and families.

It’ll be cozy, bustling, creative, fun, and relaxing—simply wonderful. Together, we’ll let words swirl through the air, listen to stories under the open sky, discover new books, enjoy music, and experience just how alive literature can be.

We’re looking forward to welcoming many curious visitors, to poetry among the trees, to shared discoveries, and to a colorful summer day in the park.
