WOW Poetry Slam Duisburg #7

When Duisburg poetry slam veteran Malte Küppers welcomes poets from all over Germany to the BORA, it means it’s finally poetry slam time again!

Whether it’s poetry, comedy, cabaret, Dada, or storytelling; whether it’s a short story or a poem; whether it’s read from a script or recited from memory; whether it’s shouted or whispered—anything you’ve written yourself that fits within a six-minute time limit is fair game. Costumes, instruments, and other props are off-limits, however.

The prize is the “Golden Ömmes.” Who gets to hold it aloft at the end is decided solely by the loudest applause in the hall.

The slam is organized by BORA, in cooperation with WoW Slam and with the kind support of GLS Bank.
