Yállá Táwlá. Backgammon & Beats by cleo

Hosted by cleo München We get into conversation with each other over Tawla (backgammon) at the Museum Fünf Kontinente. An open space for informal exchange: we learn the rules of the millennia-old game that connects people across continents and borders. Conversations, new contacts and connections are created in a playful way - accompanied by DJ A.tari, whose sound concept picks up on the diverse locations and social spaces of the cleo community.

The rules will be explained on site, no previous knowledge is necessary. Backgammon boards will be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own sets.

Cleo is a Munich community that is committed to a pluralistic, solidary urban society. The aim is to build bridges and open up spaces in which participation is actively practiced and belonging is negotiated together.
