American EBM virtuosos YOUTH CODE - the project of multi-instrumentalists Sara Taylor and Ryan George - welcome their first proper music album in five years: "Yours, With Malice".

What's changed is YOUTH CODE's attention to detail and their hyper-focused approach to songwriting - two things that can only come from the wealth of knowledge of a band that's been at it for more than a decade.

"Yours, With Malice" roars and stomps out of the starting blocks like an armored, gun-toting bulldozer - grinding skulls into fine powder while seething sub-bass, bone-crunching snare hits, hissing hi-hats and rib-shaking kicks ricochet off the floor like spent grenades.

The group began in 2012 as a project between partners George and Taylor, inspired by the classic sounds of New Order, Depeche Mode and the hardcore punk that had shaped much of their youth. The result was a demo cassette that led to a 7" release on "Angry Love", the first band unrelated to the legendary Psychic TV to be released on that label.

A self-titled album followed, then 2014's EP "A Place to Stand" and 2016's album "Commitment to Complications", while playing with groups as diverse as "Chelsea Wolfe", "HEALTH", "Skinny Puppy" and others, in addition to arena shows with "My Chemical Romance" and main stage appearances with "Nine Inch Nails".

This was followed by numerous praises in the press before the pandemic broke out. Now the band is back with their masterpiece. (Source: Organizer, translation: Feierwerk e.V.)
