Yu-Gi-Oh Turnier

In the organizer's words:

The 8th Yu-Gi-Oh "Old-School" tournament is back on 30.05.2026!

Be there when it's time for a duel again !

Special feature this year is under the title "Total Knowledge"!

What does that mean? You carry a small list with you, with information about the number of monsters, spells and trap cards in the deck. You don't know right away if there is a trap hidden, unless there are none in the deck... But more on that on the spot. Otherwise, the same progression applies as before. (For the veterans there is new bold writing)

Preparation:

• All participants will be given the same starting deck for the tournament
• Numbered boxes with random Yu-Go-Oh! cards rotate among the participants
• The deck is removed and a card from the duelist's existing deck is placed in the box as an "inch".

(Cards from the previous round can also be placed in the box)

• Each player takes 6 cards from the removed pile for their deck
• The "inch" is effectively an exchange that goes to the next player and improves their pool
• When everyone has taken the appropriate cards and the remaining cards are back in the box, the boxes move to the left
• This process is repeated until the boxes are empty
• Then the deck is completed and all remaining cards are returned. There is no side deck

Then the preliminary round begins:

• A random "field power bonus" is awarded before each round. This modifies the duels massively in some cases and provides variety New: it will be based on elements
• Several individual duels will be included in the scoring

(Depending on this, there will be approx. 8-10 duels)

It counts again

a win = 3p

Draw = 1p

Defeat = 0p

The tie-breaker is again the difference in life points from the matches (1,000 points each at the end of the duel = 1 point) After scoring The 4 finalists go through to the semi-finals. From here on, matches will be played until the winner is determined.
