Next year, Zebrahead will celebrate their impressive 30th band anniversary. Just in time, the Californian punk institution will return with a major tour of Germany in December 2026. Because the world is still listening to them after three decades. Under the name "DRUNK AND SH*TTY IN EVERY CITY", the quintet will once again bring their unmistakable blend of melody, heaviness and unbridled live energy to stages across the country.
Since their formation during the legendary punk explosion in Orange County, Zebrahead have stood for uncompromising DIY spirit, quirky flashes of humor and songs that are equally made for mosh pits and euphoric sing-along moments. The band, consisting of Ali Tabatabaee, Adrian Estrella, Ben Osmundson, Ed Udhus and Dan Palmer, has been regularly releasing new songs and videos since 2024, leading up to the new EP announced for 2026 - the next step after their EPs III, II and I. For Zebrahead, one thing is at the center of all this: fun. For almost ten years, the group has been working entirely on their own to maintain the creative freedom that has always driven them. Their shows are getting bigger, the riffs heavier, the energy wilder. Live, Zebrahead are regarded as an absolutely exceptional phenomenon, bringing halls around the world to a boil and thrilling festivals such as Hurricane/Southside, Reading/Leeds, Wacken Open Air, Rock am Ring, Summersonic, Slam Dunk and Nova Rock for decades. The band's history also reads like a wild ride through 30 years of punk rock: from the "Yellow" EP (1998) to the major debut "Waste of Mind", the celebrated "MFZB", gold awards in Japan, a Grammy nomination for a collaboration with Motörhead, countless tours, classics such as "Broadcast to the World", "Phoenix", "Panty Raid" or "Brain Invaders" to collaborations with Man With A Mission, with whom they provided the theme song for the film "Mad Max: Fury Road": Zebrahead have amassed millions of fans worldwide and earned their reputation as one of the most entertaining and uncompromising live bands.
Special guests Punkrock Factory, who have made a name for themselves in the scene with their fast, energetic punk covers of well-known hits, will be joining them. Their shows are loud, playful and full of surprises, making them the perfect fit for an evening that is all about one thing: maximum escalation. In December 2026, it will be loud, wild and absolutely uncompromising: Zebrahead provide the perfect setting to celebrate 30 years of band history.
