Throw away less. Swap, repair, and try things out more.
At the Zero Waste Festival on the Energieberg in Georgswerder, Hamburg-based initiatives, workshops, and volunteers will demonstrate how a conscious approach to resources can look in practice.
Look forward to a wide variety of hands-on activities centered on the circular economy, repair, and sustainable consumption:
• Clothing swap
• Repair Café
• Bike repair shop
• Upcycling activities
• Fermentation workshops
• Yoga with a View (registration required)
• Biodiversity workshops
• Information and hands-on booths from numerous Hamburg initiatives
There will also be pizza, coffee, and time for conversations while enjoying the view of Hamburg.
The Zero Waste Festival is part of Hamburg Sustainability Week. Under the motto “We’re shaping the future. Together,” ideas for a better tomorrow come to life throughout Hamburg.
Bring your favorite broken items, swap clothes, try something new, and get to know Hamburg’s zero-waste community.
