Dr. Stefan Klotz provides an insight into biogeography, which deals with the spatial distribution of organisms and their changes over the course of the Earth's history. Using modern methods such as molecular biology, statistics and modeling, he will present new perspectives on biodiversity patterns and future developments under climate and land use change. The lecture focuses on Central Europe and asks about the ecosystems of the future.
