Feelings - a journey of thought: A musical reading with poems by Johanna Kappauf

When Johanna Kappauf is not enchanting audiences on the stage of the Münchner Kammerspiele or pirouetting on the ice rink, she is writing poetry. In these poems, the actress Johanna Kappauf puts the rollercoaster rides of her thoughts on paper.

This sometimes loosens a knot in her thoughts and feelings. The poems deal with the everyday, with seemingly small encounters and situations, with subtle and fleeting self-observations. A few of her poems have already been published, for example in the "Wortfinder Kalender".

At the Schwabing City Library, Johanna Kappauf takes us on a journey through her thoughts together with musician Florian Burgmayr and actress Sina Leinweber.

The musical reading is part of the event series: "Accessible stories and poetry"

Language can be many things, for example: poetic, light, performative, complex, spoken, signed, in letters or Braille. The Münchner Kammerspiele and the Münchner Stadtbibliothek invite you to an inclusive series of events that brings this diversity of language to life. On four evenings, authors and artists with and without disabilities will read, perform and sign stories and poetry. We enjoy the texts in a relaxed atmosphere with good snacks.

The rooms are wheelchair accessible / barrier-free. Alternative seating is available. The event will be translated into German sign language.

On May 21, the day of action "Zusammenhalt in Vielfalt" of the "Initiative kulturelle Integration" will take place. Numerous actions by various organizations, alliances and individuals will be taking place at events to set an example for cohesion in our free and diverse society.
