The 10th anniversary of the Hessisches Staatsballett provides the occasion to entrust various choreographers from contemporary dance with short creations. In addition to a reunion with Canadians David Raymond & Tiffany Tregarthen, who present a reworked excerpt from their piece "Force Majeure", which premiered in Darmstadt, many of the choreographers in "Chronicles" are making their debut at the Hessisches Staatsballett. They include renowned names such as Dutch dancer Anouk van Dijk, up-and-coming choreographers such as Liliana Barros from Portugal and Dunja Jocić from Serbia, and promising newcomers such as Spanish dancer and choreographer Fran Diaz.
