Due to popular demand, we are showing the documentary film about Norbert Schwefel again, with director Dieter Wöhrle in attendance:

Schwefel - the band was known for its experimental sound, which contained elements of post-punk and industrial. The song "Schizophrenic Party" in particular made Schwefel a big hit in the independent scene. The band was founded in 1984 by the Mannheim musician and producer Norbert Schwefel, who, as the head of the group, was praised by Spex as the "new god of the underground". In addition to the numerous record releases, he curated an open air festival in Mannheim and also discovered filmmaking for himself. Norbert Schwefel died in 2015 at the age of 54. The film follows his footsteps since 1987, gives friends and fellow musicians a chance to have their say, and shows performances and events. He was able to complete his major work, "The Schwefel Opera", before his death with the help of a few friends.
