In the organizer's words:
The panel will shed light on how the automotive industry - particularly in the context of e-vehicles - plays a key role in establishing a functioning circular economy (CE). The focus will be on legal framework conditions such as the new EU End-of-Life Vehicles Directive (ELV), existing challenges such as illegal exports and innovative approaches to reuse, remanufacturing and recycling. Discussions will focus on how OEMs, industry associations and recyclers can jointly assume responsibility and generate competitive advantages through circular business models.
