We live with them: things. And they with us. As much as the rapids of capital are eager to snatch them from us so that we can buy new ones, we become surprisingly fond of some of them. Who hasn't experienced the joy of finding a sweater again after two years or the childhood grief over a lost pocket knife? Things are often much more to us than just stuff. In times when reality is being dissolved by hallucinating bots, they can actually prove to be accomplices in saving reality. What if we could hold on to each other, perhaps even find a home in a shared existence, the things and us? We believe that would be both reassuring and wondrously strange. That is why we are calling for a great council of people and things! We invite you for the fourth time to the Gala of the Literature Lab (aka "zwischen/töne"). Come to cocreation, beats and encounters at the beginning of the year. Come in large numbers and in the company of a (non-digital) thing.
