RoboLAB 2022 - Laboratory for inclusive art and culture

from 18.-23.08 in Odonien

We transform Odonien for 6 days into a laboratory for inclusive art and culture. RoboLAB is entering its third year and has become everything at once: Production and presentation space, opportunity for continuous cooperation, content discussion and knowledge transfer. Wow, we didn't really expect that either.

Numerous artists will present projects from the fields of theater, music, installation, media art, visual art, dance, artificial intelligence and club culture that have been produced especially for RoboLAB 2022.

Formal setting, which probably applies to all productions of this year's RoboLAB edition, is the procedure "Aesthetic of Access": to creatively integrate the idea of accessibility already in the process of creation of the artworks. Believe us, this is a complex and elaborate, not always successful, but artistically and politically incredibly exciting and inspiring process.

For the first time the RoboLAB Academy offers 9 different workshops e.g. about inclusive cultural work, poetry slam or about visualizing music. To participate in the workshops it doesn't matter if you are experienced cultural workers or curious laymen.
