The Munich Art Academy is more than just an art college - it is a vibrant center for the creation of contemporary art. The course of study is out of the ordinary in today's higher education landscape. It focuses on independence and personal responsibility and promotes outstanding artistic talent according to individual interests and focal points. Renowned artists with their different artistic approaches lead the classes and numerous study workshops. In addition to liberal arts with classes in painting, sculpture, media art, performance, photography, jewelry and equipment, and stage design and costume, students can also study art education and interior design at the AdBK, as well as the master's programs in Visual Design and Therapy and Architecture and Art. The annual exhibition always presents student work in the studios, workshops and garden in July.
