The Ampere is the smaller event hall of the Muffatwerk. Its special character is created by the tension between the preserved historical architectural elements such as the open wooden roof truss, the partially still visible brickwork and modern design elements such as the light art installations, the artistic wall design as well as the large-volume, silvery ventilation tubes that measure through the entablature of the former "Brunn House". When, at a full concert, the visitors crowd in front of the stage and enthusiastically join in, it gets crowded and noisy in front of the bar in the lower area of the Ampere. Those who want to can then go to the open gallery for a while, look down on the surging crowd from there, or use the cozy lounge furniture to retreat. A second bar, located somewhat away from the hustle and bustle, with bar stools and bar tables, also offers the opportunity for conversation and a sociable game of foosball.

The Ampere is particularly suitable for concerts in a club atmosphere, spoken word events and readings, as well as clubbing and DJ events. On weekends, club evenings with changing themes take place here. Catering is provided by two counters on two levels.
