The exhibition venue b41 grew out of Baustelle Schaustelle e.V.. Since its foundation in 2007, Baustelle Schaustelle e.V. has dedicated itself to promoting young artists from the region and has established itself as a space for young art in Essen with a total of around 100 exhibitions. With this in mind, the Dépandance in Düsseldorf will now also give young artists the opportunity to realize exhibitions and their own projects under a new name and with a breath of fresh air.
