Brunhilde Moll Stiftung

The nonprofit Brunhilde Moll Foundation began its work in 2020. In accordance with its bylaws, it supports projects in the fields of art and culture, as well as science and research in the area of brain research.

To fulfill its mission, the foundation moved into the building at Drakeplatz 4 in the summer of 2024. This historic studio house was an important gathering place for Düsseldorf’s art scene in the middle-class neighborhood of Oberkassel during the 20th century. Between 1908 and 2023, more than twenty artists worked here, leaving a lasting mark on the building. Among the most famous of them are Joseph Beuys and Gotthard Graubner.

Since 2024, rotating exhibitions featuring diverse artistic perspectives have breathed new life into the building, transforming it into a nationally significant hub for art production and appreciation.
