We are a lively cultural and documentation center in which art, culture, education and history find a place together.
The house thrives on encounters between generations and cultures. DOKU is open to everyone.

DOKU and its cooperation partners offer children and adults the opportunity to express themselves artistically and creatively at low cost.

DOKU is run by a non-profit association (Stadtteilgeschichtliches Dokumentationszentrum Blumenthal e.V.), which is committed to cultural education in the district and has been collecting district history in its own archive for over 30 years.
Over the years, the house has developed into a lively meeting place for all generations, who have all helped to shape the place in their own way and adapted it to the needs of the district.
