VOLUME UP FOR UNDERREPRESENTED VOICES

The concert series for more equality in pop goes into a new round. It is still mainly men who are booked for the big stages and get media attention. With free:pop, together with our partner Sipgate, we are making a statement for more gender equality in the music industry. As a member of the Keychange Pledge initiative , we have committed to booking at least 50% women and non-binary artists*. "A balanced line up is actually not a problem, because there is no lack of talent. Now it's up to us as organizers* to give them the stage they deserve," says curator Hamed Shahi. During the long weekend from 17.05-20.05. four concerts will take place at PONG. Among them: Kat Frankie, Brockhoff, Ami Warning, Liser and many more. Tickets are available for 7€ per evening, the proceeds will be donated.
