No other location in Dortmund is so much in the spotlight when it comes to concerts, parties and related events. Since 1968, the FZW brand has stood for exquisite and inspiring events - across all genres. With the new building and the move directly into the city center, we form the cultural center of the city of Dortmund with the surrounding cultural institutions and venues in the legendary Dortmund U-Tower. We inspire not only our audience, but also artists, agencies and organizers with our state-of-the-art event technology, a unique atmosphere and have played ourselves into the hearts of live music fans in a very short time.

The FZW hall offers space for 1,400 people at unseated shows and up to 600 seats at seated events.
The FZW CLUB is the crucible for the stars of tomorrow and seats 300 people. Also, as in the hall, basic technical equipment is available in the club for productions of various kinds. The club is also often used as a second floor for party concepts.

The FZW BAR has 120 seats for readings, stand-up programs and screenings. This room can also be used multifunctionally and can seat up to 320 people for unplugged shows. LED walls and a sound system make the room quake as another party floor. The ensemble is rounded off by our beautiful outdoor area, which offers a beach area with palm trees, sand and sunbeds as well as many other seating options and 2 large pagodas - chill out in perfection.

As diverse as our audience are of course also our events and program contents.
While mostly during the week the musical idols are awaited in the club, on the weekends the dance fans celebrate at different parties.
