Bremen's citizens have long since made friends with the unconventional architecture and aesthetics of the House of Parliament. The parliament is considered valuable, even if some of the laws forged inside are only grudgingly accepted. In any case, the building has long been a listed building. It is the heart of democracy and a center for political education. And on top of that, the light-flooded ballroom on the first floor is one of the most beautiful public spaces in the Hanseatic city. Its glass screen reflects the historical substance of the market square in a fascinating way. The Bremische Bürgerschaft is one of the few German parliament buildings built after the Nazi era.
