The Heine Haus is a cultural institution in Düsseldorf's old town, located in the house where Heinrich Heine was born.

Initially a center for literature since 2006, the house has been performing its function as the Heine Haus Literaturhaus Düsseldorf since 2017 and is dedicated to the mediation and promotion of German-language and international contemporary literature. It is run as a public-private partnership between the state capital of Düsseldorf, the Förderverein Heine Haus e.V. and the literature shop Müller & Böhm, which is located in the front area of the house. In the rear area of the house there is a unique event room.

Centrally located in the middle of Düsseldorf's old town, between the city hall, K20 and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, our house has established itself as a unique meeting place for literature and art. The listed rooms not only offer plenty of space for literature, but also for a whole range of events.
