In memory of Heinz Bosl, the Heinz Bosl Foundation was established by Konstanze Vernon on January 12, 1978. The foundation was established on 1. December 1978 by the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs as a public foundation under civil law. The Heinz Bosl Foundation is a non-profit foundation with the purpose of promoting young dancers. This includes the development and maintenance of an extensive repertoire and the provision of the necessary infrastructure: premises, rehearsals, training, costumes, etc. In addition, the Heinz Bosl Foundation offers young dancers plenty of stage experience, such as the twice-yearly Bosl Matinee, guest performances and regular appearances with the Bavarian State Ballet on the stage of the National Theater. It also maintains a dormitory for students of the Ballet Academy of the Munich University of Music and Theatre and members of the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich. The foundation additionally awards dance scholarships and also supports aspiring choreographers by rehearsing their works.

For ten years, the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich has offered young dancers the opportunity to develop into professional artists in a protected setting after completing their studies. As the first junior company in Germany, the ensemble was founded in 2010 at the instigation of Konstanze Vernon, Bettina Wagner-Bergelt and Ivan Liška as an innovative partnership between Munich's largest dance institutions. The Heinz Bosl Foundation is the lead partner in this cooperation with the Bavarian State Ballet and the Ballet Academy of the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts.
