The Institut Français Mannheim (IF) has been a nonprofit organization since 2015 and is part of a global network of more than 200 institutions dedicated to promoting the French language and culture. The IF was established through a collaboration between the French Embassy, the City of Mannheim, the Curt Engelhorn Foundation, the French Honorary Consulate in Mannheim, the University of Mannheim, and Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. The IF’s goal is to inspire people’s enthusiasm for the French language and culture while fostering Franco-German friendship.
