With around 700 members, the Regensburg Jazz Club is one of the largest jazz clubs in Germany - and one of the most successful.

In the 25 years since it was founded, it has made a name for itself internationally and attracts talent and stars from all over the world to Regensburg. Top-class artists such as Chet Baker, Archie Shepp, Joe Pass and Till Brönner have already been guests at the jazz club.

In addition to established artists, the Jazzclub also brings up-and-coming talent to the stage. It offers newcomers and as yet unknown talents a great forum. Many international stars have grown up with the Jazzclub and are always happy to perform there.

The program covers all varieties of jazz. The Jazzclub is bold, experimental and always open to new ideas: crossover is the magic word. However, the jazz club's special focus is still on contemporary jazz.

In addition to its own concerts - mainly in the hall of the Leerer Beutel - the jazz club maintains close contacts with music and cultural institutions from Regensburg and the entire region, e.g. the JazzZeitung, the Jazzweekend, the Music College and other clubs and festivals.
