In the location's words:

We are a comprehensive grammar school from year 5 to the Abitur. Around 1,200 pupils currently study here with around 100 teachers. The 14,000^m2 school grounds include a large playground and even a small forest with play equipment. Our school also has six newer, partly detached buildings, an old merchant's villa (Vietor House) and a canteen where freshly cooked organic meals can be eaten at lunchtime.

We offer all the subjects of a traditional grammar school in regular classes. However, you can also opt for a music or art class, in which more music or art lessons take place than in a regular class. We are also a STEM school, which means that we have additional focuses in the areas of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. This includes our regular and successful participation in competitions such as "Jugend forscht", the "Mathematik-Olympiade" or "Känguru", as well as "Jugend debattiert".

Foreign languages are also very important at our school. All pupils learn English from Year 5 onwards. In Year 6, you can choose between Latin and French. From Year 8, we also offer Spanish as a compulsory elective subject.
