Your investigation begins on the banks of the Rhine at the landing stage. Here, where excursion boats dock and the river shapes the cityscape, you start your tour on the Brasserufer - one of Bonn's most popular promenades. Nearby is the Opera House, a striking post-war modernist building that has been a cultural meeting place in the city for decades. From there, the route continues to the Stadtgarten, a green oasis with mature trees that was created as a recreational area in the 19th century.

The path leads you along the banks to the Ernst-Moritz-Garten, which invites you to linger with its view of the Rhine. The other side of the Rhine is also part of the investigation area: at Hans-Steger-Ufer, a new view of Bonn and the Rhine front opens up to you - ideal for discovering details that remain hidden from the opposite bank.
